Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. - Helen Keller
Jay: I like to look at the snow through the window, but that is about as far as my fascination with it goes. I'm a very cold natured creature and cannot deal with sub-freezing temperatures that come along with it!
This snow was like that...it did stick to the road, but by the next day, it was all gone off of the roads.
It's been a while since Middle Tennessee has seen this amount of snow, the kids had a blast, I got some nice pictures and made snow cream, so I guess it isn't ALL bad.
Rock Dog: It was loads of fun...to look at it through the window!
Melissa: Thank You! Well, snow is kind of nice for the kids around here because we just don't get it much anymore, but, I am definitely ready for Spring to get its groove on!
Wow, it looks beautiful especially the one where you captured the snow falling down; in England, when we manage to have a little snow, it's just like rain and becomes like goo as soon as it's down. yuk.
People often say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that YOU are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others dared not look, including inside ourselves...

Windows To The Soul...
I never saw an ugly thing in my life: for let the form of an object be what it may - light, shade, and perspective will always make it beautiful.

Discoveries are often made by not following instructions; by going off the main road; by trying the untried. - Frank Tyger

Hot diggity, I *love* the new look!
But I hate snow, damn you! :p
Great pics! I like the new design and the way it compliments the snow pics.
Leighann: Thank You and awwww, sorry!
Captain: Well, Thank You! That red does make it pop, doesn't it!
Yay snow!
We get just about the perfect type of snow here. It normally doesn't stick on the roads and if it does it lasts only for about one day.
