This is a project I'm working on in Advanced Typography. We have to make a bill-board, vertical poster and postage stamp.
The image of the super hero with the red cross and the American Red Cross Logo and font do not belong to me, but are being used by me under laws allowing me to use art for scholastic purposes. I am not trying to claim these two images as my own, nor the actual verbiage used, only the layout, design placement elements and fonts (other than that used in the American Red Cross logo) used for educational purposes only.
Now, with all that BS out of the way! Just making sure everyone understands and I don't want anyone to think I stole something! Anywhoo! Just though I would share this one as a Professor of mine told me I should add this as an example in my portfolio. (Which is legal so long as I add the same basic spill I gave you guys. :-)~
Seems like once a week may be all I can do for a while guys, I stay pretty busy between school, house, work, kids, husband and two cats...I haven't been still much lately, but I love it. My GPA (though not all I want it to be) is a 3.76 out of possible 4.0. Guess I can't be too upset at myself. This has been a longggggggggg semester and I can't wait for a much needed break! I am still working on this project and will get the rest up as soon as I can.

I know, I know...I need to come up with something interesting to say and going to school one would think I would be able to do that, but I'm drawing a blank here folks. Performance anxiety perhaps? I did write a couple of stories for my creative writing class that I thought about sharing, but they are oh so boring, not at all the steamy stories that I know everyone likes to read so I'll skip out on those! One was about where the light goes when it goes out and the other was about Humpty Dumpty and how he really died. Yes, folks this is what I'm paying to learn! ; ) Though, I have to admit I do love my creative writing class!
I guess I would have to say that anatomy has been my favorite class, of course who doesn't like looking at nearly naked women posing for hours in all kinds of lovely, twisted about fashions! There was a guy that posed but he wasn't wearing boots and a hat so....whatever!
On the horizon, in the hopefully not too distant future I (we, the family) might be buying 25 acres in the most lovely, wonderful out of the way piece of property and I am SO ready to be back in the middle of nature. To commune with trees and animals rather than the pee-pulling-pecker-headed-people that call this planet home! (I mean that in the best way possible of course!) It is beautiful and remote, there is a huge swimming hole and an absolutely perfect place for me to go fish. We will also be right near some family and will be working together to build a viable farm...horses, cows...the hole damn barnyard I guess!
Anyway, I'm stoked and have to try and contain myself, not get my hopes up too much until we get the house we are in now sold (all fingers crossed!) Anyway, I'm off of here to get some things done around the house before I go to work!

Shit I miss this!
I also feel like it's going to take me a bit to get back into the swing of thing, not that I was ever a daily poster or anything. School is going really well, it is trying and strenuous, but I love it!

I miss blogging, a lot. Not that I blogged religiously, or even regularly, but not being able to when I do feel like it sucks! I plan on getting back into blogging and following my fellow bloggers again soon...I Promise!
School is going well, I'm now officially half way through my classes in Graphic Art and Design. My GPA is 3.76 so far, not too bad I guess.

I'm only two weeks in, but thus far am happy with all my professors and classes. Actually I have liked 99% of all my professors, only one I have felt disappointed in, but then he might say the same about me.
Well, I have other things to get done, but I wanted to stop in and say hello to all of You who might still frequent this ghost ridden, lonely little spot in our blogdom.
